Jobs to go at Island's HSBC branch

It’s been confirmed that 15 posts will go from the HSBC offices spread across the Channel Islands.

 

Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man will have to make the cuts as part of a much wider restructuring programme that will see over 1,000 people made redundant across the British Isles.

The bank has described the losses to be incurred by the Channel Isle’s as relatively modest.

 

It’s not yet known exactly how many posts will be lost from the Douglas branch.
