Dog owners urged to keep their pets under control following attack

Police in Ramsey are investigating a dog attack which left both dog and owner with minor injuries.

It happened at approximately 6.00pm on Saturday 8th June up from the beach at Queens Pier.

A woman was walking her West Highland Terrier when a tan and white Boxer dog attacked the pair.

Details were exchanged with the owner but were subsequently lost, the owner is described as a woman with a Scottish accent.

Police are reminding dog owners that their animals must be kept under control, with collars bearing a dog licence and name tag.
