No 'knee jerk' reaction to Bray Hill incident says Head of Motorsport

There will be no knee-jerk reactions following a racing incident on Bray Hill on Senior Race Day.

That’s according to the Island’s head of motorsport who says race organisers are working together to look at how to mitigate the risks around the course.

On Friday 11 people were taken to hospital – some with serious injuries – after a TT rider lost control of his bike which crashed into a crowd of spectators.

The Department of Economic Development says it was a particularly difficult incident but showed how well the emergency services and race authorities could work together.
