Name change won't detract fans say race organisers

The new-look Festival of Motorcycling won't alienate fans despite changing its name from the Manx Grand Prix Festival.

The re-brand happened last year following months of talks between the government and the Manx Motorcycle Club.

Race organisers have assured bike fans it will still be the event they remember but there have been some changes people will notice.

Practice starts a week on Saturday and Caroline Etherington from the MMC brought us up to speed on the alterations:
