Police investigate 'suspicious' car

Police are investigating reports that the occupants of a car have been acting suspiciously in the Douglas area.

It’s been alleged on social networking sites that a man and woman in a blue vehicle have been approaching children in the Pulrose and Spring Valley area.

The Central Neighbourhood Policing Team say so far the reports are unconfirmed and there appears to be no basis to them.

However, officers are keeping an open mind and asking people to stay calm.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious has been asked to report it to Police Headquarters by calling 631212.
