FOI expert attends PAG meeting

An expert on Freedom of Information has suggested a number of reasons as to why the Island's government has dragged its heels introducing the legislation.

BBC producer Martin Rosenbaum last night delivered a talk alongside the Positive Action Group on why its introduction here will be beneficial to the Island.

It came into force in the UK in 2005.

However he says it is not always high on government’s political agendas:
