Scottish air link update before Christmas

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

An announcement on restoring a direct Scottish air link to and from the Island will be made before Christmas.

That’s the promise from the Economic Development Minister who says discussions are ongoing.

Government representatives have been meeting with potential operators since July.

Talks are currently centred on a twice daily service which would be supported by a marketing campaign from the department.
