Police appeal for witnesses to public order offences

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was arrested for public order offences in Ramsey.

They are investigating a disorder incident which happened shortly before 1am on Saturday in Market Square.

It is alleged that a woman was assaulted prior to police arriving on scene with members of the public stepping in in an attempt to restore order.

The victim was spoken to by officers but did not require medical treatment.

It’s also alleged that a man was assaulted – but police say he has not been traced at this time.
