Standard and Poor's review scrapped

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

Government has taken the decision to discontinue the accreditation with the rating agency.

Instead, Treasury will continue to be monitored and have its credit rating determined by Moody’s.

It says there's no point paying for the same service twice – especially when the process is both expensive and time consuming.
