Charity's landlord steps in to save resources

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

Two counselling rooms used by a local drug charity which were at risk of closure have been saved.

The Drug, Advice, Service and Helpline had been due to lose the £10,000 resource as part of its sustainability plan.

However the charity's landlord Lowey and Co has offered much needed financial support and provided the venues rent free for the next 12 months.

DASH provides confidential support to those affected by drugs, including family members and young people.
