Hundreds flock to the coast for Northern Lights display

Local star gazers last night had the chance to view one of the clearest Northern Light displays in recent memory.

Also known as Aurora Borealis the lights were visible around the UK, as far south as Essex.

Revellers flocked to the northern coast on the Island for the best views.
