Opinions wanted on changes to GCSE system

The public is being urged to have a say and help shape the future of the qualifications the Island’s students will study for in the future.

England is overhauling its GCSE system from next year, forcing the Island into a position where it either follows suit or finds an alternative option.

Alternatives include switching to the Scottish qualifications or opting for the International GCSE.

A consultation into the matter will be launched at next Wednesday’s ‘Reach Higher’ conference.
