The chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Alf Cannan, has accused the Council of Ministers of double standards amidst calls for his resignation.

Policy and Reform Minister Chris Robertshaw says Mr Cannan should stand down from the post following comments made about the cost of consultants.

They’ve been employed to look into the long term sustainability of the National Insurance fund which is expected to be exhausted by 2050.
