Mixed views on new cycle lane

There are hopes that the Island’s first cycle lane will encourage people to leave their cars at home and cycle to work.

However the installation of the cycleway on Peel Road in Douglas has been met with a mixed response.

Infrastructure Minister Laurence Skelly says it's already popular; a number of our listeners have voiced their concern that they feel there could be accidents until people get used to it.
