Is funding available for health changes?

Fri, 02 May 2014

Is there any money available to implement changes to the Island’s health service?

The Chief Minister will be asked in the House of Keys whether he can find £2.1 million to adhere to the recommendations of recent reports.

It follows a damning review of some areas of Noble’s Hospital by the West Midland’s Quality Review Service.

That found there were immediate risks in both critical care and theatre and anaesthetics.

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft will also quiz Allan Bell as to whether there will be extra funds available if the original estimation proves insufficient.
