Fire Service will struggle to maintain standards in light of cutbacks

Will the public have to alter their expectations of the fire service as they continue to battle against cutbacks?

Fire Officer Carl Kinvig says maintaining high standards of service are becoming increasingly difficult in light of the major money saving measures across goverment.

As each department deals with reduced budgets the frontline services have found they too are not immune to cost cutting.

Assistant Divisional Officer Carl says the public need to be kept in the loop as to how they are altering their operation
