Guy Martin will be back to try again at next year's TT - but says he will not be a 'performing monkey'. 

The Tyco Suzuki rider secured two podium places during this year's festival with second place in the Superbike race and third in the Senior TT.

Despite his podium placing on Friday he elected not to join the press conference afterwards to talk about his achievement until the very end saying all he wanted to do was 'ride his bike'. 

Admitting this was partly because of concern after witnessing teammate William Dunlop's crash on the Mountain he says he doesn't particularly like the attention:
