TT racer died from blunt force trauma

TT rider Karl 'Bomber' Harris died from massive blunt force trauma, his inquest heard yesterday.

The Sheffield man was killed following a crash at the 26th Milestone in the Superstock race last Tuesday - he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Although details are as yet vague the incident involved another racer, local man Joe Faragher, who is currently receiving treatment in a UK hospital.

34-year-old Karl was a three time British Supersport champion and described as being one of the great characters of the TT paddock.

Coroner John Needham passed on his condolences to Karl's family and released his body for funeral arrangements to be made.
