Thu, 26 Jun 2014

Filming on the latest movie to be shot on the Island has started.

Production on kidnap thriller 'Take Down' has begun with the film expected to make extensive use of the Island's coastal and woodland locations.

The film sees a group of reckless children of billionaires sent to a remote Island to learn basic survival skills in a boot camp - somewhere along the way they are kidnapped and held ransom.

It stars Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick, and Peter Pan star Jeremy Sumpter, with the film directed by Jim Gillespie who oversaw 90's horror classic 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'.

Residents living in areas set to be affected by filming are asked to look out for the signs detailing the filming schedule.
