Over 1,000 expected for Ramsey beach clean

Volunteers will be aiming to break a world record for the amount of people cleaning a single beach today.

Beach Buddies and Ramsey Grammar School are teaming up to clean up Ramsey Beach.

Around 1,000 volunteers including students, teachers, parents and members of the public are expected to turn out to try and break the record.

The Guinness Book of Records has been informed of the attempt.
