Numbers look promising for Rally Isle of Man

Rally drivers have just a week left to enter this year's Rally Isle of Man.

So far entries are on course to meet last year's numbers - with crews from Japan, France, Belgium and Australia set to take part.

There will also be a number of teams from around the British Isles including five times champion Jimmy McRae.

The event will run for three days from Thursday September 11th - media officer Chris Boyde says despite initial concerns numbers are looking promising:
