Police send stern warning to prank callers

Wed, 27 Aug 2014

Police tell us hoax calls they received at the weekend were no laughing matter.

Officers were busier than normal, as they kept up with extra traffic on the roads and a responded to the fatal road traffic collision on Sunday morning.

Making these prank calls can be classed as wasting police time and can carry penalties.
