The Island will continue to maintain its positive relationship with Scotland following the outcome of the country's referendum.

The people of Scotland have voted to remain as part of the United Kingdom and not break away and become independent.

Chief Minister Allan Bell says Scotland is a potential economic partner as well as a competitor.

However he says he will be monitoring developments closely as the country is expected to gain greater autonomy which could have implications.
