Third GP education session to be held next week

Education sessions for the Island's GPs will come to a close next week.

The initiative sees quarterly meetings with the aim to give doctors the opportunity to discuss developments in medical care and offer tips on ways to enhance patient care.

Whilst next Wednesday's session is ongoing practices will remain open during the afternoon.

Although the doctors will not be present you will be able to visit the practice nurse, make future appointments, collect test results and order repeat prescriptions.

Urgent appointments and visits will be maintained by locum GPs based at practices in Douglas, Peel and the South.
