Joint working improving visitor numbers says MNH

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

More than 320,000 visits were made to Manx National Heritage sites over the last year.

Visitor numbers have increased significantly helping to improve revenues.

The group travel market increased by seven per cent and there were 16,000 National Trust visits - 33 per cent more than in 2012.

The success is being attributed to a tourism steering group which sees the sector working closer together - director Edmund Southworth says things are starting to pick up
