E-cigs banned in some government offices

Electronic cigarettes have been banned inside Health and Social Care buildings.

It follows a report carried out by the World Health Organisation which raised a number of concerns.

The study deemed that their usage increases the exposure to nicotine and toxicants to the non-smokers and bystanders.

Public Health's Anita Imberger says a further decision will be taken if and when the e-cigs are properly regulated:
