Springer Spaniel killed following road traffic accident

Police are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred yesterday evening and resulted in the death of a dog.
A white Springer Spaniel was hit by a silver car close to the Balthane Industrial Estate entrance, the driver then continued without stopping.
It happened around 5.30pm.
The driver continued south, the police are urging anyone who saw the collision or has any information to contact Castletown police station.
