Protecting vulnerable still main priority

Vulnerable people on the Isle of Man will be protected.

That's the message from the Policy and Reform Minister who disputes claims government is simply talking about the problem and not acting on it.

Minister Chris Roberthsaw who says that couldn't be further from the truth and it still remains one of government's top priorities.

At the last Big Debate meeting 90 per cent of attendees said they agreed the welfare system should be there for a hand up not a hand out

Mr Robertshaw says support needs to be individually targeted:
