An 18-year-old from Anagh Coar who allegedly stabbed a man at a Halloween party will appear in court today.

Jack Marshall Bridson will go before the Deputy High Bailiff facing one charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

It's alleged that he attacked a friend in the garden of a property in Hilltop Rise in Douglas in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim suffered seven stab wounds to his chest, cheek, shoulder and back - he's currently in Noble's Hospital where his condition has been described as 'stable and comfortable'.
