Island to mark World Prematurity Day

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

Two Island landmarks will be lit purple today to mark World Prematurity Day.

The Tower of Refuge and Pulrose Power Station will change colour to raise awareness about the 15 million premature births a year.

Since January 2007 just under 1,000 babies have been admitted to the neonatal unit at Noble's Hospital.
