Post Office understands change is needed

Thu, 04 Dec 2014

The Post Office says it still believes that losses across the retail network cannot continue at the current "magnitude".

It follows the decision to postpone the closure of the crown offices in Douglas and Ramsey for three months.

In the House of Keys earlier this week a motion was put forward to delay the relocation of the facilities into the nearby SPAR stores - it was supported by 19 votes.

The Board says it will continue to work with affected key stakeholders to try and identify some alternative options for achieving the necessary savings.
