Online TV station on Island to film Manx language documentary

Global TV site Viki is on the Island filming a documentary on the endangered Manx language.

A number of Manx culturalists have been involved in the project - which hopes to expose the language to 33 million viewers on viki.com.

The programme will be launched with the Living Tongues Institute of Endangered Languages - a non-profit organisation led by linguist David Harrison.

It'll explore its history and how digital technology is being used to revitalise Manx for generations to come.

David says that preserving it appears to be a labour of love for the Island's people:
