Number of young people offending drops

There's been a reduction in the number of youngsters being referred to the Youth Justice Team.

It's recorded a challenging but successful year with 293 referrals compared to 412 in the previous 12 months.

The team works to prevent offending, and reoffending, by children and young people under the age of 18.
