Volunteers sought to help elderly people in the community

Volunteering to help elderly people in the community can be equally rewarding for both parties.

That's the message from the Isle of Man Live at Home Scheme which is trying to recruit more volunteers.

It's a time of year when many older people are left lonely and isolated - the organisation organises befriending, social events and activities to try and alleviate this.
