Appeal launched following christmas present theft

Mon, 05 Jan 2015

Police are appealing to the public for help after a thief stole Christmas presents from a house in Douglas.

A burglar is believed to have entered the property in Lheannagh Park between 7am on December 23rd and 10am on 24th - stealing a number of presents left by the door.

The items included a 2015 Isle of Man Children's Centre calendar and a 7x5 inch silver framed photograph of the two school aged children.

The constabulary has seen an increase in thefts over the festive season - and ask that anyone with information to contact Police Headquarters on 613212.
