Teen back in court over Halloween stabbing

A teenager accused of stabbing a fellow teen seven times at a Halloween party last year has appeared back in court today.

18-year-old Jack Bridson of Anagh Coar stands accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding the victim with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The incident happened at an address in Farmhill in the early hours of November 1st.

Bridson was today officially committed to the court of general gaol delivery - a date for his trial will be released in due course.

There was no application for bail.
