MHK wants to see Neighbourhood Watch resurgence

Neighbourhood Watch schemes could make a return to the Island following a recent crime wave.

Onchan MHK David Quirk thinks the reintroduction of the initiative would be welcomed at a time when paranoia is high due to a spike in the number of burglaries.

He says it would be an effective means of communicating messages and would serve to appease concerned elderly members of the public:
