Burglary spike leads to rise in home insurance

More people are purchasing home insurance on the Isle of Man thanks to the recent burglary spike.

Over 30 incidents have been reported since January 9th with police still working to catch those responsible.

Homeowners are being reminded that there are a number of things which could affect your ability to claim.

Things like unlocked windows, spare keys in plant pots and unsecured valuables in the garden could result in no pay-out should you find yourself the victim of crime.
