Planners urged to take tips from those a century ago

Government and the private sector can learn from town planners 100 years ago.

That's the message from MHK Chris Thomas who has responsibility for planning and building control.

It follows the centenary of Douglas Corporation's acquisition of the Pulrose estate yesterday - housing was then built on the land in the 1920s.
