An ex-serviceman is currently walking and running the length of the Mountain Course in aid of Help for Heroes.

28-year-old Jomarre Tomlinson from Douglas started his journey at the Douglas Grandstand early this morning - and is trekking all 37.7-miles in one go with spurts of running under weight across the entirety of the course.

Jomarre says he intends to raise £1000 for the charity to honour the military community after six years of service in the army.

He's already reached over £800 of that target.

Anyone wishing to donate to the cause is invited to visit his page at bmycharity.com/JomarreTomlinson.
