Mountain road closure planned for TT preparation

With the launch out of the way attention will now turn to getting the roads race ready ahead of TT 2015.

'Essential preparation works have been scheduled for April, with a week's closure planned for the mountain road.

The improvements will include road resurfacing and re-profiling of the carriageway on the Keppel Gate section of the course.

There will also be the usual road lining, ditching, signage erection and sign maintenance works carried out.

Work is expected to start at 8am on Monday 6 April, with the road due for reopening on Sunday 12 April.
