Bid to reform LegCo moves forward

Onchan MHK Peter Karran says he's pleased that his plan to reform the Legislative Council is gaining pace.

The Liberal Vannin member's bill passed the second reading process this week with a significant majority in support.

He is a keen advocate of having MLCs voted in by the public instead of by their peers.
