SPC calls for people to be 'realistic' over problems

People need to be more "realistic" to the problems being faced by the Steam Packet.

That's according to the chief executive of the company following the news that Manannan is set to sail again on Saturday.

The week of cancelled sailings - due to a damaged propulsion and manoeuvring system - has resulted in thousands of people having their travel plans disrupted.

Listeners have taken to Facebook to vent their frustrations - Ian says the company isn't learning from its past mistakes and Hollie says there is no back-up plan when things go wrong.

Bethan told us there was no compassion or attempt to accommodate passengers' needs - CEO Mark Woodward has apologised but says people need to be more understanding:
