A retail unit in Pulrose could be transformed into a fitness centre if planning permission is granted.

An application has been submitted to convert a first floor retail unit of Riverside Works into an exercise hub.

Under the plans it would be open between 6am and 7pm - with a maximum number of 20 users at one time.

Parking would be situated at the Bowl Car Park - however the application states that many users would walk or run to the premises as part of an on-going fitness programme.

The application was submitted on April 1st and is currently pending consideration.
