E-petitions would improve resident interaction with government

E-petitions would improve interactions between Manx residents and the government.


That's the idea put forward by Roger Tomlinson from the Positive Action Group - who says antiquated processes already in place are in urgent need of reform.

England and Wales have implemented a similar system to consider issues and proposals that authorities can deal with.

The public are invited to attend a debate on the matter at the organisations' annual general meeting on April 20.

It will be held at the Manx Legion Club from 7pm.

Mr Tomlinson says the discussion has been a long time coming:
