MHK wants answers on child benefit means testing

An MHK wasn't given answers on means-testing for child benefit when he asked in the House of Keys, so he's pitching the question again tomorrow in Tynwald.

In receipt of a question for written answer, Minister for Treasury Eddie Teare has been asked to detail running and system development costs of testing it, and how it benefits government.

In 2009, it was found that introducing means-testing child benefit would help to save Treasury £2.5 million a year.
