Police seek witnesses to church burglary

A burglary has taken place at the Holy Trinity Church in Patrick.

Police say someone entered the church on 13th May - causing serious damage to an internal wooden vestry door.

The individual then proceeded to steal loose change from the donations jar.

Most churches across the Island remain unlocked and accessible to the public.

Witnesses to anyone acting suspiciously in the area are asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
