Welfare reform consultancy bill revealed

The welfare reform consultancy bill has been revealed as costing £750,000.

Consultants Ci65 have made recommendations for reform following the discovery of outdated systems wrongly based on UK policies.

It includes simplifying how National Insurance is calculated, and introducing a single Manx benefit to support both workers and the unemployed.
