Making government 'one' could improve decision making

Proposals to change government's legal framework are still up for discussion after an extension to a public consultation.

Currently each department has separate identities in law - but the Isle of Man Government isn't recognised as a whole.

The extension has been granted so that people can have their say - the consultation will now end on August 29th.

Policy and Reform Minister John Shimmin says it's time to create one body and tidy up the system:
