Ramsey RNLI launched to aid four on broken vessel

Mon, 10 Aug 2015

Ramsey lifeboat launched to rescue four people stranded on board a 37-foot leisure fishing vessel yesterday.

The all-weather lifeboat was called to the broken-down boat at 10:55am.

It came to a stop eight miles from the town after losing oil due to a broken pipe.

The lifeboat took the vessel safely in tow back to Ramsey Harbour - no one was injured.
